Content: A mixture of 1 1/2" crushed stone and coarse sand and gravel densely graded to provide a high-strength gravel base with superb drainage quality.
Sold by the ton.
Common Uses: Road base, driveway base, trailer pad construction. Most commonly used for deeper fills (5" or greater). Difficult to use with hand tools due to the large stone size. This material is best distributed by using small skid steer loaders ("Bobcat"), backhoes, tractors with grading boxes, and bulldozers.
